About
Deziak began in 2020 as songwriter, guitarist, and producer Daniel McCarthy’s dream to make a difference in the world through the power of music. Combining influences from psychedelic, progressive rock, metal, folk, punk, pop, and good old fashioned rock and roll, Deziak takes the listener on a journey through outer space and back again. In 2021 Deziak released their debut album Deziak’s Odyssey, and toured the United States. In 2024 Deziak relocated to Colorado, and in April 2025 released the synth-based project sounds of the synth vol. 1, showing listeners that all styles of music are up for grabs. In May 2025 Deziak welcomed drummer Jackson Reid into the fold, and the pair continue to preform in Colorado Springs, with plans for new music underway.
